Passionate about wine and mountain, Benoit & Bastien created Emy Vintners back in 2010.

Bastien worked previously for Inbev, then for the pretigious Champagne & Wine houses Rotschild et Vranken Pommery as an account manager in the Savoie and Haute Savoie Region.

Benoît discovered the wine trade in an Oddbins branch in South-West London, then worked for  Champagne Laurent-Perrier in England. He came back to France as sales and marketing Director of the ski lift company in Tignes.

They decided to join forces in 2010 and gradually have built a comprehensive range of wines primarily  for restaurants, catered chalets and wine merchants in the Alps.

The business goes now over the Savoie boundaries as the carefully selected italian wine range is distributed nationwide.

We spend as much time as possible in the vineyards to select in each appelation one or several wine estate(s) that share certain values :

Respect of the terroirs (low impact farming, organic or bio-dynamic estates),

Best winemaking practices,

• Great taste and Personality.

Bastien loves

sortir des sentiers battus (Aiguille rouge des Arcs, Minervois, Face Nord de Bellecôte, Lirac) mais apprécie aussi les Grands Bourgognes ou le Rhône Septentrionnal… tout est fonction de son humeur !

Benoît loves

les grands classiques (Face de Bellevarde à Val d’Isère, Vosne-Romanée en Bourgogne, Piste Double M à Tignes, Ermitage en Vallée du Rhône, etc…)
